The Aviadurken is a speedy animal that resides in the grasslands of Fading Breath. It appears as an avian-like creature, with certain elements more akin to dinosaurs.
Anatomy
Strong legs give the Aviadurken a quick getaway when predators threaten its life, however when caught it is not defenceless. It uses its small arms and large talons to claw its attacker until it is too wounded to continue hunting.
A large tail fan keeps the animal balanced from its heavy front while it is running so that it does not fall flat on its face.
Diet
Aviadurkens feed upon grass, which is in abundance within its natural habitat of the grasslands. It uses its wide beak to pluck up large amounts of its food, which is then processed within multiple strong stomachs.
It will occasionally snatch a small animal passing by as a quick bit of protein.
Environment
The environment of the Aviadurken is open, cold and harsh. Grass spreads across the land as far as the eye can see, with no tree’s or shrubs to break the repetition.
To deal with the depressing cold, a thick coat of plumage insulates the animals body.
