The Aviornamentalis is a small, curious looking bird. With colourful feathers and master crafted nests, they are truly a spectacle to behold.
Anatomy
Despite being a small bird, about the size of a grouse, it has large levels of attitude – being known to even assault the feet of Aviadurken (mid-sized bird) that get too close to their nests.
The Aviornamentalis also bears many colourful feathers, of which it uses to display to possible mates, or to scare off any trespassers. The nests they build house the pair of birds and their eggs, all at once. They keep out the snow, being expertly crafted for warmth.
Diet
Aviornamentalis is a herbivore, feeding from seeds and plant material. Occasionally, they will snatch a smaller animal, such as a young Molloshrew (or even a young Aviornamentalis that strayed too far from its own nest).
Environment
The environment of the Aviornamentalis is open, cold and harsh. Grass spreads across the land as far as the eye can see, with no tree’s or shrubs to break the repetition.
Thick plumage and master constructive skills keep these birds warm in the cutting cold, while their size hides them from possible predators.
