The Molloshrew is a diminutive mammal that lives in groups under the ground, they are expertly camouflaged to their environment.
Anatomy
Molloshrews are tiny burrowers, where they live in family groups, made up of 5-15 members. Being at the bottom of the foodchain makes them a common target for predators looking for any meal they can get, as such, they are camouflaged perfectly to the grasslands of Fading Breath.
The white coat mirrors snow, while the black stripes give the appearance of Juxta Grass.
Diet
The Molloshrew will eat anything it can find, prizing meat above all – for its rich protein – however, they mainly consume roots from the safety of the underground.
Environment
The environment of the Molloshrew is open, cold and harsh, filled to the brim with grasses. However, being a subterranean animal means they can completely avoid many of the biggest dangers. Such as the weather, predators and most of all – the cold.
While the cold can still enter their dens, it is much warmer inside than out in the open.
